Not a contractor
Walnut Creek Patio Covers is an independent website that connects homeowners with local patio cover contractors. We are not a contractor; contractors may pay us for project requests. Verify any license at cslb.ca.gov.
Costs
Price ranges come from published sources (HomeGuide; Pacific Pavers, an Orange County company), labeled with region and date. They are not quotes. Real quotes can land below or above them depending on size, materials, site conditions, permits and labor.
Codes and permits
Summaries of the City of Walnut Creek rules, Contra Costa County guides, the 2025 California Wildland-Urban Interface Code and Zone 0 status are general information as of October 2026, not legal or engineering advice. Agencies interpret and update their rules; confirm with them for your address.
Brands
Product categories are described neutrally. This site isn't a dealer for, and isn't affiliated with, any patio cover, pergola or louvered roof manufacturer. Brand names belong to their owners.
Images
Backyard scenes and diagrams are drawn to explain how cover types shade a patio; they don't show any specific project or installer.
