About
About This Site
Walnut Creek Patio Covers is an independent guide to aluminum patio covers, louvered pergolas and wood pergolas for Walnut Creek, Danville, Lafayette and Orinda. It explains costs, permits and fire-zone rules, and connects homeowners who ask for a quote with a local installer.
How the site works
You read the guides, then call or send the quote form if you want pricing. Your request goes to an independent patio cover contractor who serves your area and can quote the project. You decide whether to hire them.
How the site is paid
Walnut Creek Patio Covers is an independent website that connects homeowners with local patio cover contractors. We are not a contractor; contractors may pay us for project requests. We don't install covers, sell products or act as a dealer for any manufacturer. Verify any contractor's license at cslb.ca.gov.
Where the information comes from
Costs come from named published sources (HomeGuide, Pacific Pavers), labeled with their region and date. Permit and fire-code statements link to the City of Walnut Creek, Contra Costa County, the California Wildland-Urban Interface Code, CAL FIRE and local fire districts. Rules change, so each page links its sources; confirm anything important with the agency.
Images
The backyard scenes and diagrams on this site are drawn to show how each cover type casts shade. They are not pictures of any specific project or installer.
